My kids love eating some weird things. Like Mikaela dipping her cookies in juice and Kaitlin topping her hotdog with jelly. But instead of giving them the side eye, I celebrate their distinct differences. And so does Stevi’s B’s.
Today June 27th through July 1st, some 16 Atlanta area Stevi B’s pizza stores have launched the Kids In Need Foundation campaign to purchase new school supplies for underprivileged kids in Atlanta.
And to celebrate this new campaign, Stevi B’s put up 22 billboards around Atlanta of Atlanta kids who love “weird pizza.” These kids were selected from a contest that was held on Stevi B’s Facebook page.
The Kids In Need mission is to provide learning supplies for students whose academic success is threatened by poverty. Each year, Kids In Need distributes hundreds of thousands of brand new school supplies to more than 2,000 teachers in low-income schools across Atlanta. There is absolutely no cost to students or teachers.
The supplies go through the Atlanta Community Food Bank and distributed to teachers. The Atlanta Community Food Bank developed the Kids In Need program, a year-round free store for educators, in the fall of 2000.
When you stop by Stevi’s B’s, be sure to say that you are supporting the Kids In Need Foundation so your sale will be counted towards the donation.
