Disney Junior Celebrates Summer with “Jake and the Neverland Pirates: Summer Adventures” at two local malls

 

Disney Junior is celebrating summer with fun, interactive events themed around the hit series “Jake and the Never Land Pirates;” May 2012’s #1 cable TV series among kids 2-5 and #1 cable preschool series among women 18-49. The “Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Summer Adventures” family events will be hosted by Radio Disney at Town Center at Cobb on June 23 and Mall of Georgia on June 30.

 

Kids and families are invited to take part in a pirate adventure and collect gold doubloons, the series’ signature treasure, by completing themed activities. Kids will receive “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” bandanas and treasure maps before setting out on a variety of fun, interactive activities including creating treasure chests, Pirate Pal coloring sheets, a ‘Never Land’ photo opportunity and a ‘Look for Hook’ game where kids will search for Captain Hook decals throughout the malls.

 

The Radio Disney Road Crew will provide entertainment inviting kids to sing and dance to popular Radio Disney Junior songs from their favorite Disney Junior series including “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,” “Doc McStuffins” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” Additionally, there will be a special viewing area where families can watch episodes of “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Doc McStuffins.” The Radio Disney Road Crew will give away Disney Junior themed prizes at each event.

Saturday, June 23, 1-3 p.m.: Town Center at Cobb (Sears Court)

 

Saturday, June 30, 1-3 p.m.: Mall of Georgia (Nordstrom Court)

 

“Jake and the Never Land Pirates” is an animated adventure series that introduces a crew of kid pirates – leader Jake and pals Izzy and Cubby – and follows their Never Land adventures as they work to outwit two infamous characters, the one and only Captain Hook and Smee, from Disney’s classic “Peter Pan.” The stories emphasize teamwork and feature original pirate rock music performed by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band. “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” airs daily during Disney Channel’s Disney Junior programming block for children ages 2-7 and on the new 24-hour Disney Junior channel.

    It’s really interesting and lovely series brought for the kids by Disney. Disney has something or the other special for the kids to make them happy and go lively with all its characters. My little kid like Disney cartoons really very much.
