There’s a New Superhero in Toytown– and his name is BayMax! #BigHero6

A boy and his toy shall never part. At least not in my house.

My son Jojo is head over heels over Bandai’s new Big Hero 6 toys! The movie premieres November 7th but Jojo is already enjoying the Deluxe Flying Baymax, a massive toy towering at 11″ inches with a soaring 18-inch wingspan!

Features of the Flying Baymax include:

  • 20 points of articulation
  • Multiple Lights and Sounds
  • Baymax comes with a 4.5″ Hiro Hamada figure which is attached to Baymax’s back and unlocks additional flying sounds that varies depending on whether Baymax is flying up, or down. $39.99

I also received the Baymax Rocket Fist and Mask Role Play Combo Pack and this toy is a hit in my home.

My daughter Milan seems fearless with the fist, especially since she can squeeze the trigger and the fist shoots out and pummels her little brother. Toys like this remind me of my childhood. There’s nothing like a good toy to get your siblings chasing each other all over the home!

Features of the Baymax Rocket Fist Include:

  • Easy reloading
  • Launch up to 10 feet in distance
  • Soft material on the fist makes it safe and fun to play. $19.99

I also received a SpruKits, new poseable action figure mode kit which required no, glue, no scissors and no pint to put together. My 11-year-od daughter had a better time with this toy than my 6-year-old son.  The kit boasts an intense challenge for three different levels of play.

The Big Hero 6 toys are just as loveable as Baymax. I got to preview this awesome movie during a Disney/Marvel press junket in Los Angeles.  The action packed comedy-adventure is about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius — thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred.

Set in  a fictional metropolis called San Fransokyo (a cross-between San Francisco and Tokyo), a young robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada and his robot Baymax uncover a criminal plot and pull together a team of inexperienced crime-fighters, including Wasabi, Honey Lemon, GoGo Tomago, and Fred to solve the mystery surrounding the crime.

Big Hero 6 is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). Big Hero 6 is the 54th feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Grab your Big Hero 6 toys because I am sure they wil be hard to come by, HOT Holiday Toys!

Disclosure: Thank you to Bandai Toys for gifting me with the Big Hero 6 Toys. All opinions are my own.
