It’s about that time! I’m going BACK to the GRIND!

I can’t believe after three long years, I am going back to the GRIND!
Back to work, that is…
I have to say that I have been fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my kids. It’s so much better to stay home with your children– at least for their first year, instead of hauling them off to daycare too soon. But unfortunately it’s what most mothers have to do.
In my case, I am blessed to work somewhere where I can take my baby boy. Now that’s a blessing. My 5 and 6-year-old will be in elementary school while my 3-year-old will be in a preschool program. So I can check on my baby boy and even have lunch with him during the day. I love the fact that he will only be a few doors down from my classroom.
Today, I actually met the kids and parents in my classroom. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I’m not a new teacher. I have been an elementary school teacher for five years, but I have been out of the classroom for THREE! So today I felt a little new… But I know it will be a great school. I like my coworkers (so far) and I am staying out of the gossip mill and away from the troublemakers. I have a career and I want to keep it! So wish me luck…I’m going back to what I do BEST! XOXO –Kia
