A bucket list and a bag of dreams…

So I was chit-chatting with my cousin Geneen on facebook about the latest brew-ha-ha on the soap opera Young & the Restless and it got me thinking about all the things I want to do in my life. See, I told her that I really wanted to meet the main character Victor Newman who is really Eric Braeden in real life. I have been watching the soap for 20 years and even though it’s all fake and made up I feel like the people on the show are truly my friends. Yeah, yeah, so I’ve got issues!
Anyhoo, it got me thinking about all the things I really want to do and accomplish before I kick the bucket. Now that I’ve published my first children’s book, Goony Goo-Goo and Ga-Ga Too, I have accomplished something major. So I thought it’s the perfect time to put together my BUCKET LIST! It truly is a dream come true for me to have a published book. So of course I want to publish many more books, but there are plenty of other things I want to do. Now mind you, many of these things on this list I did accomplish, yet many I will probably never get to do in a million years. BUT you never know.
We all have to dream a little dream. I am living proof that dreams really do come true. So introducing, MY BUCKET LIST (in no particular order!)

1. Find my prince charming and marry him!
2. Have at least five kids
3. Get out of Philadelphia
4. Start a non-profit to help single women
5. Move into a single family home
6. Become a teacher
7. Find a NEW job
8. Publish my first children’s book
9. Meet Oprah Winfrey
10. Meet Michael Baisden
11. Write a movie script
12. Hit the lottery for $30 m!
13. Meet Eric Braeden (Victor Newman)
14. Get a walk on role on Young & the Restless
15. Get a walk on role on Reno 911
16. Pursue getting a Doctorate
17. Take a vacation WITHOUT the kids
18. Get a Master’s Degree
19. Turn Goony Goo-Goo into a cartoon series.
20. Publish my second children’s book

Well this is a start. Since I’m still in my 30s I know this list will change dramatically in the next decade! Stay tuned!
