Polow Da Don Hosts 4th Annual Celebration for a Cause

Last night fashion and philanthropy was the FOCUS at the 4th annual Celebration 4 A Cause (C4AC): Where Music Meets Fashion For A Cure event. This event marked the two-year anniversary of Polow da Don’s non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Foundation F.O.C.U.S. and precedes the four-year anniversary of the Zone 4 Incorporated imprint.

Held at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery the night featured music and fashion, with a runway presentation and live performances. There was a special performance given by Mary Mary and Lifestyle Specialist Bevy Smith kept us in stitches as host at the star-studded event.

C4AC was created to spread awareness for cancer research and further educate on the preventions, treatments and cure through music, fashion, and artistic expression. Proceeds will benefit Foundation F.O.C.U.S. and the American Cancer Society.

I had a great time at the event. Below are some pics I took. I have to say I REALLY enjoyed two little girls aged 11 and 13 called the Bailey sisters. They blew me away singing Nina Simone’s song “It’s a New Day” I am not exaggerating when I say they sounded just like Beyonce! Their voices were just that powerful and I cannot believe they are not signed to a label.

Another highlight was Mary, Mary blowing away the crowd singing “Yesterday.” And Designer Linda Gail floored me with her whimsical, delightful and playful fashions for little girls. Those babies rocked it! Other designers whose fashions ripped the runway were Sammy B, True Religion, Fli Pelican Clothing and C&B. Thank you to April Love PR for the invite.

Cynthia Bailey, model and Atlanta Housewife was honored with a Fashion Award for her achievements over the last 20 years in the industry.

WERKKK!

ADORABLE! Fashions by Linda Gail!

She better WERK! Cutie Pie!

These dolls are the Bailey sisters and they were amazing singers. I mean, really. Sounded like Beyonce. No lie.

Bevy Smith was so funny as the MC
