I have to do this more often!
I was asked by the fabulous MommyParties and BSM Media to host a Thomas and Friends MegaBloks Party!
MegaBloks, which are those sturdy connecting building blocks that my son absolutely loves, has themed Thomas the Train toys. I was provided with a Thomas at the Races kit. There were 10 party kits, which were boxes that transformed into train stations when turned upside down. Kids can build the racetrack by flipping the container it comes in so that Thomas can ride down the ramp to the finish line! They also gave me a Dieselworks kit which had about 72 pieces and transformed into a station, or more like a train depot.

So first thing first was putting a call out to my faithful group of fellow mommy bloggers in the Georgia Social Media Moms Group to see which moms would be available on Saturday to bring their cute little kids out for a day of fun. And it turned out to be quite a fabulous playdate!
I totally overdid it and cooked up a storm because I just couldn’t have my mom bloggers and their babies hungry at my house! We ate and drank and talked and tweeted and had just a OUTSTANDING time. My blogger moms definitely showed up in force! Two of them brought their husband and I’m glad for that because my husband was definitely outnumbered! Thank you to:

And thanks for bringing all of your beautiful kids to the Thomas and Friends party. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and the tweets and the kind Facebook messages confirmed it. We ladies agreed that we definitely needed to do more playdates. Our kids became friends and we bonded even closer. The toys were VERY popular too. The kids were huddled in the middle of my family room floor playing with the toys and I had the Thomas DVD on the big screen too.
One mom told me on her way home her kids were still talking about the Thomas toys! Awesome. I think the pictures below are proof that you have to pick up this Thomas the Train kit for your kids this holiday season. Kids ages 3 to 6 will play for hours with the set. Don’t forget to purchase the wonderful DVD Thomas and the Runaway Kite, which I was given a copy of and it played throughout the party. Kids even stopped playing to watch it. You can purchase the DVD by going to Thomas and Friends.com
Thanks you BSM Media and Mommy Parties for allowing me to host this WONDERFUL Thomas get-together! Certainly unforgettable for all of us! Who knew that a Train had the power to bring people together in more ways than one! 🙂
