Cincomom is headed to Washington! An invitation to meet and greet with the President and International Leaders!

I am so excited to announce that I am headed to our nation’s capital as a special invited guest to meet President Barack Obama for the Official Visit of Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and his wife, Samantha Cameron!

Oh when you dream a little dream… They DO come true!

This is the highest honor of all honors for me!

There is nothing that will compare to this experience. I have DREAMED of meeting the President and Michelle and I am so happy to attend this ceremony. I am the everyday American being a mom of five kids, who works hard and is now a business owner of Atlanta Diaper Relief and believes everyday that good-old-fashioned smarts and hard work can turn the tide in your life and turn dreams into a reality.

I was also told that I could invite one person. So of course I invited my husband, but after much thought he declined to go because he will be taking several days off work in April to go to Disney with me as an invited guest to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Trust me he’s sick over the fact he won’t be going to Washington to meet our favorite President. But at the end of the day, we are a typical American family and somebody’s gotta work and make the bread! 🙂

So I invited the next person who would be in line to go: My mother Janice. And when I told her I think she screamed for an hour! I am so happy to have my mom by my side for this special day. Especially for someone who has seen the changes that have come around in the last 60 years. I am happy and proud to take her to see the first black President of the United States. This is just too great for words.
