Am I the only one who suffers from car clutter?
Last week, the Wall Street Journal ran a story about the efforts of all automakers to improve cargo spaces. The article noted that, “Auto manufacturers fail to provide enough specially designed spaces for personal items, according to a 2009 survey of drivers by consumer-research firm J.D. Power and Associates. That’s begun to change, as some car makers have recently begun innovating the storage areas in the front of their vehicles.”
It just seems like there’s not enough space in my vehicle to keep things neat and tidy. I end up cluttering up the car with personal items that have no place. My cell phone in the cigarette tray, my sunglasses in that little console where I keep lots of coins and it’s just annoying. But Ford wants to remind you that the new Escape is a vehicle where Everything has a place.
