As a newly coined “sports” mom with a son who loves playing baseball I’ve seen what sports can do for a child and how it has transformed my son from momma’s baby to a big boy.
Whether it’s football, baseball, soccer or whatever favorite pastime, sports are magical and bring kids together while teaching values like sharing, teamwork and tolerance. Now imagine playing your favorite game while at the most magical place on earth.
The combo is captivating and at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World, thousands of kids will get to compete in baseball, soccer, volleyball and more during the ESPN Wide World of Sports Media Week July 14th-17th!

I am truly excited and overjoyed to join Disney for a monster lineup of events involving thousands of youth athletes! I’ll be treated to complimentary travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, theme park access, plus events at America’s leading youth sports venue where I’ll have exclusive access to coaches, athletes, team moms, sports celebrities and other youth sports experts talking about the latest trends, such as sports travel and sports safety.
Believe it or not, I’ve never been to the ESPN Wide World of Sports. During my recent Disney Social Media Moms trip I was supposed to do a Disney Run but I kinda copped out. (But I did do a 2-mile walk-run the next day with Ali Vincent from the Biggest Loser.) So I’m glad I’m going back and will get an exclusive opportunity to check out the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center and bring you all the latest and experience youth sports and learn about the many magical differences that make the Wide World of Sports the happiest place on earth for athletes, parents and guests.
