As cool as dad is, he deserves a cool treat!
Today I’m headed to Wendy’s with my kids to enjoy a frosty. They’re one of my favorite treats but today it’s all about celebrating dad and adoptions!
For every Frosty purchased on Father’s Day Weekend (that’s June 15 and 16), 50 cents from the purchase will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. I’d like to offer you a gift card to take your family to the nearest Wendy’s for free, yummy Frostys in honor of Dad!
All I ask is for you to Tweet and Facebook about the program and your first Frosty memories (using the hashtag #FirstFrosty) to encourage all your friends to treat Dad to a Father’s Day Frosty. For each story, image or video about a first-time Frosty experience via Facebook or Twitter, Wendy’s will donate $1, up to $50,000.
Wendy’s Wonderful Kids is making a difference for thousands of children—one child at a time. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption awards grants to public and private adoption agencies to hire adoption professionals who implement proactive, child-focused recruitment programs targeted exclusively on moving America’s longest-waiting children from foster care into adoptive families.
I have a soft-spot for foster and adoptive kids. Right now my mom has three foster kids in her home and I am so proud of her for making their lives so much better.
When my kids had their #FirstFrosty, it was a delectable treat and is now a must-have during the hot summer months.
Tell me below about your #firstfrosty experience and I’ll send the winner a $5 giftcard to enjoy some frostys for yourself! It’s as simple as that!
