Family Day the Smith Family Way! And the Forecast was #CloudyWithAChanceofMeatBalls2

Who says Saturday is a rest day. Rest is for wusses! LOL!

Anyway this past Saturday was a day chock-full of activities for my crew. I got the family up early to head out to the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 foodimobile! We got to try fun “foodimal” foods, which are the stars of the film due out September 27th!

They were healthy and tasty lunch-sized portionswith to bring tacodiles, hippotatomuses, fruit cockatiels, subwhales, watermelophants, Barry (he’s a strawberry), pickles, carrots, and celery to hungry fans. The food is compliments of Sony Pictures Animation and our national partners Ortega Mexican Foods, SUBWAY® restaurants, California Giant Berry Farms, Cal-Organic Farms, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Grimmway Farms, and the National Watermelon Promotion Board.

We then enjoyed a little of Centennial Park! We got on the new Skyview for the first time. And my kids played in the water spouts although my son was acting a little but scared of it!

And my kids were actually more scare of Skyview than I thought! Especially Mikaela!

But all in all Skyview was a blast! then it was on to support Mikaela at her first cheerleading game for the Beulah Bulldogs! This girl was born to cheer! She has always wanted to be a cheerleader and her dream has come true!

It was a great day out in the sun with my kids and husband. My husband is not a big football fan but he came out to support Mikaela. I even got in the game a little bit and was one of the moms holding the banner that the football players ran through!

All this is one day! True family togetherness and FUN! FUN! FUN!
