Rising Above It: Divorced and Figuring Out My New Life #WomenRiseAboveIt

 When people see me now with a bustling house full of kids, as a happy and content wife who jet-sets across the country on blogger trips, they don’t know the back story that got me here.

They don’t see the tears I cried and the adversities I went through and the strength I had to muster up to make it to this point. While life is pretty golden now, there was a time when things were grim. I’m happily married now but I can remember the dark days when I was going through my first marriage that ended in divorce and there was a really bad time where I was alone raising my first child, struggling hard, moving from city to city to secure jobs and I was trying hard to find myself and my place in a tough world that had no mercy on a young, clueless woman who couldn’t find her place in it. I had to figure out my new life and eventually I did. Times were really tough but I rose above it!

Believing in me was enough to keep me grounded and because of that today I am living the dream; I remarried, have great kids and I am able to inspire other women through this blog and other social media platforms that you too can rise above the challenges and adversities that life dishes out to you!
