Now here’s the fun part!
There’s nothing more surreal than going to a red carpet event, rubbing elbows with celebs and going behind the scenes and being a part of the Disney magic. One of the perks on my trip to Los Angeles for the Disney Frozen premiere was being able to voice over one of the characters in the film! And it just so happens that I voiced over my favorite character, the silly snowman Olaf!
And I did pretty good! I don’t think I’ll be getting any callbacks from Disney, but at least I was able to experience what it’s like to go into the recording booth and laying down my voice.
We had so much booth doing this. I got to talk to Gabe Guy, who is the guy who lays down the tracks for those famous voices we here in the movie. Gabe is the sound mixer and we were in the same booth as all the voice characters for Frozen and mostly all the celebs who record voices come to Gabe and do their voice overs in that same booth! All voice recording work is done even before the movie is inked! Gabe also worked on Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, and the short film GET A HORSE!
You did great Kia! So much fun!
You did amazing and you can totally hear your accent lol
Thank you! Now this was fun!
