Daddy/Daughter Dance Memories

I heart seeing my daughters hang out with their dad.

IMG_20140214_193039And I light up watching Rudy BE a dad to his daughters. it’s something really special. Something I never experienced as a kid because all I can remember is my mom having to chase my biological dead-beat dad down for child-support money. He gave me nothing more than money. The love, and tenderness that a young girl is supposed to get from her dad never was given to me.

So I made a vow to make sure that my daughters would never be without. That meant meeting the guy of my dreams who would be a great force in their lives. That’s a pretty hard feat but I was up to the challenge.

Mission accomplished.

I met a helluva man in Rudolph Smith. And he’s one heck of a dad. The greatest. Loving. Attentive. Patient. Strong and Protective.

And these Princesses got to go on on a date with a King. They were treated like royalty; dazzled, danced and ate dinner with their dad. they had him all to themselves and he showed them through his presence and love and attention, how precious and special they are and how they deserve to be treated.

IMG_20140214_220538On Valentine’s Day I happily took a backseat and my husband took our daughters to our local Father’s Day Dance at Deer Lick Park in Douglasville. I love this event and this is the 3rd year they’ve attended. They go on a horse and carriage ride, take pictures, eat and they even met Anna and the snow queen Elsa. Moms aren’t allowed so forgive the pictures Rudy took. They aren’t as GOOD as mine would have been! LOL!

This makes me happy. Seeing my daughters Happy makes me Happy. I can give my daughters a life I never had.
