Winner Update: The Winner of the Hershey’s candy is David ([email protected])!! David I will email you to get more info! Congratulations!
Maybe it’s because of the candy but Easter is definitely one of the top holidays in my home.
I’d like to think that my kids love to celebrate and learn about the true meaning of Jesus more than the JOLLY RANCHERS but we all know that candy carries a lot of weight.
The little ones were overjoyed when they saw the bunches of HERSHEY’S candy I piled onto the table that was sent to us to get ready and assemble our Easter baskets.
Celebrating Easter is a big family tradition and I remember many Easter celebrations and Easter egg hunts when I was a kid. And snacking on REESE’S Peanut Butter cups and crunching down on WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS and snatching them out of my Easter basket before Easter Day was just the best that it could get! My Easter memories are filled with going to Easter Egg hunts and searching for candy and we can’t forget the Easter outfits we wore that day because prancing around in our new shiny shoes and fancy outfits was so rewarding since we didn’t get new clothes that often. Any day where all eyes are on you is a good day!
And the joy of dying Easter eggs is a tradition that still tickles my insides today. I used to love dying my eggs all kinds of crazy colors and trying to make the best looking egg to show off to my brothers and sisters. Now I have my own traditions with my kids.We do our own Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard with hollow eggs filled with JOLLY RANCHERS Jelly Beans and WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS! We invite the local kids in the neighborhood and we just have a great time for all!
And we celebrate Easter with assortment of Hershey’s Easter Candy like:
- REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup EGGS
- REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup WHITE EGGS
- REESE’S REESTER BUNNIES
- HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolates
- JOLLY RANCHER Hard Candy Lollipops
- JOLLY RANCHER Jelly Beans
- WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS
- CADBURY MINI EGGS
- ROLO Candy
- HERSHEY’S KISSES Chocolate in bunny form with HERSHEY’S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates in pastel foils.
Thanks to HERSHEY’S my kids are going ga-ga over all this candy! But instead of just letting them eat it fast and in a flash, together we are creating some cool, edible EASTER Recipes that I’d like to share with you!
I made these cuuuute Ice Cream Cupcakes with HERSHEY’S KISSES and ROLO Candy inside! Except there is no ice cream just icing! And I made regular cupcakes with the candies inside!
The recipe is simple!
I used a box cake mix, ROLO Candy and HERSHEY’S KISSES and ice cream cones and filled the halfway after dropping in the candy of choice. And there are JOLLY RANCHER Jelly Beans on top of the icing!
I also put in mini HERSHEY’S CADBURY MINI EGGS into the cupcake pans for a little surprise in the cupcakes.
And it came out very nice! Add the icing and any of the HERSHEY’S candies for a very nice touch and a great snack for the kids.
There are TONS of recipes and Easter crafts at CelebrateWithHersheys.com. I had fun checking them out and plan on making the Easter Bunny Egg Racers recipe I found on the site. I found this so helpful because having a little boy who is more into making something like cars instead of cutesy flowers gives my kids more choices for Easter activities.
Now I’d like to give away a HERSHEY’S CANDY prize pack!
1 lucky winner will win

My favorite Easter tradition goes back to when my grandmother was young. Her parents immigrated from ireland and went on to have 15 kids, Money was scarce but each kid got a new outfit shoes included for Easter. This outfit also became their church outfit every week until the next Easter. My grandmother also took my aunts and uncles to get new outfits for Easter. My mom did it for me and my brothers and sisters and I remember how excited us kids would get about getting our Easter outfits. My girls start looking for there outfits months before Easter probably because they change their minds so much. My girls and I are going to try and make the robin’s egg wreath. I’m going to have to get an extra bag for us to eat while we make it.
