Six Flags Over Georgia presents the magic of Holiday in the Park, November 22 through January 4. See the park transformed into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights. Go big on your favorite thrill rides and be sure to visit the one and only Santa Claus.

six flags santaI was excited to visit Six Flags “winter” edition since I normally only visit with the kids in the summertime. And what I witnessed was a Winter Wonderland of epic proportions that took my breathe away.

DSC_0305We previewed Holiday in the park first by chilling with some delicious chilli from Beef Chili, Chicken Enchilada Soup, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and Cheddar & Broccoli Soup.

DSC_0308Six Flags President Dale Kaetzel and some special invited guests from the military and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta grabbed hold of a huge candy cane and turned on the glorious Christmas Tree with dazzling lights.DSC_0328DSC_0332I was wooed and wowed by the millions of twinkling lights. I walked through a wintry forest on my way to the Goliath ride which my kids rode over and over! And there were several magnificent shows going on for this behind-the-scenes sneak peek. And yes even Santa was there to give some good-hearted cheer and take pictures with kids and the kids at heart.

DSC_0372DSC_0366DSC_0343It was one of the most delightful amusement park experiences I’ve ever had. My children were fascinated by all the whimsy of the festive affair. And they got to get on rides over and over and truly enjoy every ounce of the Holiday in the Park experience.

And to my surprise before we left, the bloggers were called to a special area for a special surprise.  But this was more like an extraordinary and exceptionally wonderful secret surprise!

Christmas came early! AT&T UVerse gifted a number of bloggers was AMAZING GIFTS! We’re talking about Play Station 4’s, 42 inch TVS, Laptop computers and more!!!

I was head over heels and screaming for joy with my gifts from the #UVerseWishList! I received a $100 Spa Giftcard and a Google Chromebook! And since my 12-year-old daughter Kaitlin asked for just ONE thing for Christmas– a aptop — I immediately gave her the Chromebook and said Merry Christmas! She has already become acclimated with it. I could not be happier right now. This was such a wonderful delight and very unexpected. We received the gifts because we were asked in an email what things did we have on our wishlist, but I never thought I’d receive an actual gift! (Next time I’ll ask for a car! LOL) I felt like I was on the Oprah show receiving gifts! You get a gift and YOU get a gift!

Thank you again and again to Six Fags and especially AT&T UVerse. I can’t thank  you enough for the kindness you have shown in thinking about me at Holiday time. And you made a 12-year-old very happy. She got the laptop she wanted!

You HAVE to go visit Six Flags and see this Winter Wonderful for yourself now through Jan. 4.  Grab your friends and go for a thrill and a chill!
