The second annual St. Jude Southern Evening of Hope is planned at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the College Football Hall of Fame to raise awareness and funding for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® and honor three-time Super Bowl champion and College Football Hall of Fame member, Randy Cross.
The Legends for Charity program is one in a series of events created by Cheryl DeLeonardis, owner of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions. The concept is to recognize sports leaders with philanthropic hearts in various markets across the country.
Guests of the St. Jude Southern Evening of Hope will enjoy southern-inspired cuisine, cocktails, and entertainment while raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through silent and live auctions. Items available for bidding include a seven-night stay at a Tuscan villa in Manciano, Italy and a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Thanks to events like this, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.
Randy Cross, a three time Super Bowl Champion with the San Francisco 49ers and a member of the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2010 was selected as this year’s honoree for his outstanding NFL playing career and 26 year broadcasting career with both CBS Sports and host of the Morning Drive Show in Atlanta on WZGC 92-9 The Game.
Special thanks to major event sponsors, Noble Systems and the Irie Rose Family Charity for making this event possible.
“It is truly a privilege for Noble Systems to serve as a major sponsor for the second year and support the 2015 St. Jude Southern Evening of Hope,” said Jim Noble, president and CEO of Noble Systems, a global leader in unified contact center technology solutions, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. “Every one of us has been affected by cancer in some manner and the Noble team is honored to be able to provide support to a great organization like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”
Other major event sponsors include: Cox Automotive, AmWins, Aspen Insurance, Dempsey Companies, HD Supply and RSUI Group.
