Award-Winning Actress, Mompreneur Kim Fields Launches Mid-Summer Youth Acting Camps

You may not remember Kim Fields playing Tootie on the Facts of Life, but I am of a particular age and remember vividly how the talented actress rolled around on roller skates and gave her schoolmates a piece of her mind! Kim is a mom here in Atlanta too (and the word is she’ll be the newest member of Real Housewives of Atlanta!) and she has accomplished so much more as an actress, director and producer throughout the years and now she wants to give back to her community!

Kim created a productive, educational and fun summer program for children in grades first through 12th. Kim is hosting a mid-summer series of camps designed to excite and engage young people in the fascinating world of acting, TV and Film Production and Creative Writing. Inspired by her career, expertise as a child actress and her own children, Kim created the camps and serves as the coach for all sessions beginning Monday, July 27.  All camps are hosted at Whitefield Academy, 1 Whitefield Dr .SE, Mableton, GA 30126.

This would have been great for my daughter Mikaela, who is an actress, except the classes above only offer her a creative writing course. I wish they had an acting class for advanced kids like Mikaela! Think about it Kim! 🙂
