Can we discuss TheWiz Live for a minute? From newcomer Shanice Williams well-played performance as Dorothy, Amber Riley’s roaring showcase, Neyo and Elijah Kelley as the Tin man and Scarecrow to David Alan Grier’s hilarious antics as the cowardly Lion and let’s not forget how Mary J Blige killed it as an evil witch in her outstanding rendition of No Bad News! All in all, The Wiz Live was everything! Thank you NBC. The Wiz Live is the kind of entertainment I live for, I felt proud, I was entertained and it even got me emotional– thank you Uzo Uduba for that heart-clinching performance. It’s the kind of show you can watch over and over again. It’s a true classic!

One of my favorite science was when The Tin Man (Neyo) sung “What WouldIDo”. It was truly a “hold up your lighters” moment. For me, I felt that he sung the song with conviction and I believed it.
