For over 25 years, the Atlanta Fair has been bringing the thrills, excitement and sounds of the Midway to Georgia residents. What was once only a dream of three carnival-loving brothers from Southeastern Kentucky has blossomed in to one of the largest inner city Fairs that the Southeastern United States has to offer. The fair operates Monday- Thursday from 5-10 p.m., Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 1-11 p.m. Admission for children between the ages of 2-11 is $1 and ages 12 and up are $5 Monday-Sunday and $8 after 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The fair is here until April 2nd and I plan on visiting because my kids are so amused with the rides and the fanfare at the fair. Even I’m like a kid in candy store and hop from ride to ride getting thrills and my share of good eats in along the way.
This fair brings back so many memories from when I was a kid. And it’s an easy way to have some weekend fun without spending too much at an amusement park. There’s also the fact that it’s literally in our own backyard in Atlanta. You only have to tell me once! We’re on our way!

Fair Entrance
Fee is to enter the fair only- Does NOT include Midway Rides, Games or Parking.
Under 36″: Only $1.00
Over 36″:
$3.00 Monday – Thursday
$5.00 Friday, Saturday Matinee 1 pm – 5 pm, & Sunday
$8.00 Saturday 5 pm – 10 pm
* Students under age 18 must be accompanied by and adult
over age 21 on Friday & Saturday evenings. (Students may
be required to present ID to verify age to enter without parent)
The following items are NOT allowed inside the park
- No backpacks
- No firearms
- No outside food or drinks
- No motorized wheeled vehicles
- Including but not limited to hoverboards, skateboards, wheelies, and roller blades
*Wheelchairs, strollers, and mobility scooters are allowed.
Please be prepared for security scan/ bag check at fair entrance gate.

Parking:
Parking is available for a fee at outlying parking lots around Turner Field. The Atlanta Fair does not control and is not responsible for outlying parking lots.
