Six Flags Over Georgia’s Holiday In the Park Starts the Season with Celebration!

Talk about spirit!

Six Flags Over Georgia has a wonderful holiday celebration called Holiday in the Park that is a pure delight!

This is the third season and our third year attending the Blogger/Media Night and it’s truly a wonderfully whimsical celebration that fills my soul with joy every time I go. What a great way to kick off the holiday season with your kids by tra-la-la-ing around the amusement park filled with bright lights, festive delights, delicious foods to soothe your mood, exciting shows and a Jolly fat dude who knows!

I got the chance to take my kids and my granddaughter Madisyn who attended for the first time. She was EXCITED and got the VIP treatment on the North Pole Express train to the North Pole to see Santa. We got to sing her favorite song: Jingle Bells, and the train attendant was so kind to escort Madisyn on the train, called her by name and let her sit in a special seat up front. Look at this video below. She was SO overjoyed. Now that moment really gives me life to see the excitement and look on her face and twinkle in her innocent eyes. The pure joy she exuded in that moment made it all worthwhile.

My oldest two daughters, Mikaela and Kaitlin, zoomed around the park to get on rides like Acrophobia and The Batman while I took my son Jojo, my other daughter Milan and my granddaughter to the Bugs Bunny Boomtown and DC Super Friends area. There’s really so much to do even though a few parts of the park remained closed.

For instance you can experience festive shows like Because It’s Christmasor stroll through Peppermint Plaza, the North Pole and snowy Main Street Christmas (with a little help from a snow machine)! Walk through a mistletoe tunnel or journey back in time to simpler days of Christmas past with Retro Christmas USA.There are also dozens of Christmas trees, more than one million LED lights but of course the real treat is meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus.

There were also Main Street Carolers, and lots of entertainment. So much to see and do! Be sure to visit to find out all about it. Holiday In the Park lats until January 4th.

Thank you Six Flags for the complimentary tickets. All opinions on this post are mine.
